Ruthless man slays mother in Haripur

A ruthless and disobedient man slayed his mother in Ghazi Sangarh Chinarkot area of Haripur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday. 

Reportedly, a disobedient son, Zahir Shah, slaughtered his mother in Sangarh Chinarkot in Tehsil Ghazi and fled the scene. 

The brothers of the deceased woman told the police that Zahir Shah slaughtered his mother, w/o Gulistan, and then ran away. 

Police registered a case on the complaint of deceased woman’s brother Qayyum Shah. 

Almost two weeks ago, a man stoned to death his granddaughter aged 16 in a far-off area of Kani Kot in Haripur. Muhammad Yasin suspected that his granddaughter had illicit elations with a man. He took his granddaughter to a far-off place without the knowledge of her parents and killed her there. 

Later, Yasin confessed to his crime and police arrested him. 

Lawyer shot dead

Unknown attackers gunned down a lawyer named Muzaffar in Sahiwal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Police have launched further investigation into the matter and shifted the body to a hospital. The incident occurred when Muzaffar was coming back to his home after he dropped off his kids to their school. 

In a separate incident, a passenger bus rammed into a tree leaving one motorist dead and eight car passengers injured. The bus was going from Vehari to Mailsi.

The rescue teams provided first aid to the injured on the spot and later shifted them to nearby hospital.
