Expressing their reservations over the Quaid-i-Azam University’s (QAU) notification of a ban on celebrating Holi, a Hindu religious festival, at the university premises, members of the National Assembly (MNAs), belonging to minority communities, on Thursday demanded its withdrawal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Speaking in the House, these MNAs said the constitution provided complete religious freedom to minorities.
They said even Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had taken notice of that.
Seconding the opinion of these lawmakers, NA speaker, too, demanded withdrawal of the notification.
