The highly anticipated trailer for Salman Khan's upcoming Eid release, Sikandar, has finally dropped. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the trailer promises a full-throttle masala action film, set to hit theaters on March 30. The movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Kajal Aggarwal, and Sathyaraj in key roles.

At three minutes and 38 seconds, the trailer, like the teaser, is packed with two major elements: fiery dialogues reminiscent of classic 80s and 90s Hindi cinema and high-octane action. Salman Khan plays a fierce, mission-driven character, fighting against injustice. Sathyaraj appears to portray a corrupt politician, while Rashmika takes on the role of Salman's love interest.

The trailer kicks off with Salman's image on a "Wanted" poster. Soon, we learn that he is known by various titles, including 'Rajkot ka Raja,' 'Raja Sahab,' 'Sanjay Sahab,' and 'Sikandar Sahab.' He then moves from Rajkot to Mumbai to face off against Sathyaraj's character. But why is he fighting? What tragedy shakes Sikandar? The answers will be revealed when Sikandar hits theaters on March 30.

This film marks the first collaboration between Murugadoss and Salman Khan. The director is known for his previous work with Aamir Khan on the 2008 blockbuster Ghajini.

In an interview with PTI, Murugadoss teased that Sikandar would offer something fresh for Salman’s fans. He explained, "The film is different from Salman sir’s previous work. It has unique elements. Just like in Ghajini, where there was a beautiful love story, Sikandar also features a touching husband-and-wife love story."

Murugadoss also emphasized that Sikandar combines mass appeal action sequences with a heartfelt message about family in today's busy world. He noted, "People often don’t have time for their family, whether it's their parents or friends. We’re all so focused on work. Though the film is commercial, it carries a beautiful message."

Ahead of the trailer release, the filmmakers also unveiled a new poster featuring the entire cast, including Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, Anjini Dhawan, and Jatin Sarna.

Like Salman's previous release Tiger 3, Sikandar will arrive in theaters on a Sunday, March 30, coinciding with Eid and festivals like Gudi Padwa and Ugadi. The film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala’s Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment.
