Troops kill three terrorists in KP

Security forces killed three terrorists in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, ISPR said on Saturday.

According to the military media wing, the operations were conducted on November 21 and 22 in Khyber and South Waziristan districts.

The security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the general area of Bara in the Khyber district and killed two terrorists (Khwarij) ISPR said, adding that in the South Waziristan district, the troops thwarted a bid of Khwarij to infiltrate through the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, killing one intruder and injuring another three.

Pakistan has consistently been asking the Afghan government to ensure effective border management on their side of the border. Kabul is expected to fulfil its obligations and deny the use of Afghan soil by Khwarij for acts of terrorism in Pakistan.

Security Forces of Pakistan are determined and remain committed to securing its borders.
