People's confidence in judiciary decreasing: PTI founder

The founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has said that if overseas Pakistanis invest here, there will be no need for IMF, however, overseas Pakistanis were not doing so because there was no guarantee for the safety of their investment, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to media persons in Adiala Jail, Imran Khan said that democracy was essential for a stable government which was possible only through transparent elections.
He lamented that people's confidence in the judiciary was decreasing. He said Bushra Bibi had nothing to do with politics, she was being punished and locked in a room.
He said the current setup of the country was harming Pakistan. He said there is no democracy in the country.
He alleged that police intervened in the Punjab by-election, adding that elections were also held in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, but the police did not register any FIR and there was no rigging complaint in KP. He said Punjab by-elections were already planned.
PTI founder said general elections were postponed from October 2023 to February 2024 only to crush the PTI. He said that even in the Supreme Court, PTI’s petition was not heard because they were also waiting for PTI to be crushed. He said the majority was turned into a minority in the country, destroying morality.
Imran Khan said fake cases were registered against his sisters. The PTI founder said Maryam Nawaz and Benazir were in politics while Bushra Bibi had nothing to do with politics.
The PTI founder said during the PTI government, Pakistan had good relations with Saudi Arabia, and that was why the OIC Foreign Minister's Conference was held in Pakistan during PTI government.
