Foolproof security arrangements for PSL matches in Lahore completed

Special arrangements for the security of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season-10 matches have been made in Punjab Safe Cities Authority, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
According to spokesperson, a joint strategy has been prepared by Safe City and Lahore Police to secure Gaddafi Stadium and match routes.
More than 700 cameras including facial recognition are being monitored for the security of matches.
Foolproof security of matches will be ensured through continuous surveillance from the digital wall of the Safe City control room.
The routes of players and fans, hotels and all areas around the stadium are being closely monitored through cameras.
Security arrangements have been made more effective through facial recognition cameras and modern LTE handsets.
Virtual patrolling officers and technical teams are on duty 24 hours a day at the Safe City headquarters.
Security has been made foolproof with modern technology and coordination in accordance with international security standards.
Safe City FM 88.6 provides information on traffic routes and parking and an awareness campaign is continued.
