After Salman Khan, Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff received death threats, but the Mumbai police arrested the person who gave the death threats.
As reported by Indian media, Mumbai Police received a threatening phone call on Tuesday, when the caller, who has now been identified as Punjab resident Manish Kumar Sujinder Singh who spread false information and claimed a contract worth Rs. 2 lakhs had been placed on his life.
Following this, the Mumbai police promptly registered an FIR and started the investigation.
However, this incident is not isolated. In May 2023, a misleading YouTube video claimed that Tiger Shroff had died of a heart attack, using clickbait tactics to garner views. The actor promptly debunked the rumour by posting a video on his social media, reassuring fans of his well-being. Such instances underscore the challenges celebrities face in the digital era, where misinformation can spread rapidly, causing unwarranted distress.
Recently, Tiger Shroff, known for his high-octane performances and disciplined lifestyle, was falsely reported to be under threat, causing unnecessary panic among fans and the film fraternity.
