Declaring the flood situation a serious humanitarian disaster in Pakistan, Federal Minister Sherry Rehman on Wednesday said the death toll has raised up to 908 including 326 children and 191 women.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the federal minister in a recent tweet has said that thousands of families have become homeless and living without shelter and food.
Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Sherry Rehman said in her tweet, “It is a serious humanitarian disaster.” 
The federal minister further said, “The cities aren't geared for the type of climate resilience that is required for this consistent torrential downpour.”
Sherry Rehman has said that till the last report, 1293 people have been injured in different incidents that occurred during the floods and rains in different parts of the country.
She urged people to help affectees of floods and rains.
