As India gears up for elections, the Modi government faces accusations of orchestrating a false flag operation targeting innocent old prisoners in a bid to escalate hostility with Pakistan for electoral gains.
The purported revelation has been disseminated through veiled statements on social media accounts reportedly managed by Rai.
In this alleged false flag operation, old prisoners of the Indian Army are said to have been subjected to torture, with claims of them being falsely linked to terrorism and accused of involvement with Pakistan.
Sources suggest that the Modi government approved the operation to divert attention from the reported brutality of Indian security forces against Kashmiris. Social media accounts linked to RAW are reportedly discussing these allegations.
The Modi government, according to these sources, is accused of using the false flag operation to portray the innocent prisoners as terrorists and place blame on Pakistan—an alleged tactic employed by Modi in the past.
In connection with this operation, media blackout has been reported in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, where reports of cruelty against Kashmiris are circulating on social media.
Ongoing operations against Kashmiri freedom fighters by Indian occupying forces in the illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir have intensified, leading to a cycle of violence. On December 21, Hurriyat militants reportedly attacked the Indian army in Soorankot, resulting in the death of five Indian soldiers.
In response, Indian security forces allegedly unleashed brutality on innocent people in Poonch and Rajouri, resulting in the detention and torture of over 80 Kashmiris and four reported deaths.
Pakistan has disavowed any involvement in the movement and activities of Kashmiris fighting against the Indian occupation army.
The accusations against the Modi government echo past instances, including the Balakot and Pulwama incidents in 2019, which were seen as attempts to gain political mileage during elections.
Experts argue that the Modi government's alleged actions are aimed at deflecting attention from its failures in Occupied Kashmir and expressing frustration on an international level, particularly in the aftermath of the killing of Sikhs.
Modi's India, they contend, risks further tarnishing its reputation globally with these tactics, marking a concerning turn in the political landscape.
