Commenting on prime minister’s yesterday live programme on television, the PML-N has mocked his assertions asking him don’t try to become a political martyr and told him to stop hurling threats, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a presser in Lahore on Monday, PML-N spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb lashed out at Prime Minister Imran Khan over his talk during a TV programme on Sunday.
Fumed at premier’s remarks about PML-N President and Opposition leader Shehbaz Sharif whom he called a ‘criminal’, she dared PM Khan to come on roads and people would hold him by neck. She wondered how could he dub Shehbaz a criminal!
“Criminal is the person who steals flour and sugar and who steals Rs500 in power and gas projects,” she hit back.
She expressed her incredulity as why the premier was hurling threats saying “who are you to issue threats and to whom you are hurling threats? You used to threaten the institutions in past.”
She asked PM Khan do not try to become a political martyr. She was of the opinion that people would throw him out disgracefully.
Ms Aurangzeb noted when the PTI reign has started shaking due to its incompetence, then the rulers have started making threats.
“We are not afraid of threats. Remove this notion from you mind,” she said.
Time has come for the government to pack up, she figured. She said that despite the worst political victimization by the government, the PML-N succeeded in every trial and case.
She maintained that only Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif would give prosperity to Pakistan. They are the pivotal of Pakistani politics, she added.
The PML-N spokesperson said that Nawaz Sharif would return when the party would decide. But she told the rulers: “Nawaz is about to return and you are about to leave.”
