Amitabh Bachchan honoured with Lifetime Achievement Award in Saudi Arabia
Bollywood ace Amitabh Bachchan has been honoured with the Lifetime Achievement award in Saudi Arabia.
The 80-year-old actor attended the awards show in the Saudi capital Riyadh organised by the General Entertainment Authority of Saudi Arabia.
After receiving the award in his speech he said, “It was an amazing chance of bringing people closer and harmonizing human society.
“We come from all walks of life and parts of the world but when we sit in a darkened hall to watch a film, laugh at the same jokes, cry at the same emotions and sing the same songs, there are very few institutions in this world that can boast this kind of integration.”

The Indian megastar inaugurated a football match in Saudi Arabia a couple of days ago. He was invited as the chief guest to open the high-octane face-off between Cristiano Rolando's Riyadh XI and Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), led by Lionel Messi at the King Fahd International stadium.
He heaped praise on the organizers, saying that Boulevard World is a wonderful amalgamation of different cultures and a pleasure to see in one place. He shared clips and clicks on social media too.
