KP approves resolution to shift PTI founder from death cell

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly unanimously approved the resolution to shift PTI founder Imran Khan from the prison’s death cell.

Treasury member Sohail Afridi presented the resolution, demanding: “Mental and physical torture of Imran Khan in jail should be halted,”  

The resolution states: “Imran Khan should be given facilities and cells according to his status." 

Sohail also presented a resolution demanding quashing cases against PTI leader Murad Saeed.

He called for providing Murad Saeed with security and giving him an award for his services for peace.

The house adopted the resolution unanimously.
