PTI vandalism case shifted to CTD for probe

A case registered against the PTI leaders in Islamabad’s Golra police station has been shifted to the Counter-Terrorism Department for investigation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
A case of vandalism was registered at Golra police station under the terrorism sections against the PTI people following the arrival of party chairman Imran Khan at Islamabad Judicial Complex on March 18.
This case has been shifted to the CTD for investigation. Along with the case, details of a vehicle of bomb disposal squad destroyed by the PTI workers was also provided. Besides this, a list of other material including 26 tools to diffuse bombs, three wireless sets, electro wire, mine detector, metal detector and six bomb-proof suits which were looted/torched by the PTI vandals was also provided to the CTD.
Thirteen PTI people including Azam Swati, Atif Khan and Zulfi Bukhari have been nominated in the case.
Police have warned that the looted material is very sensitive and buying or keeping this material is against the law.
Four cases against the PTI activists will be referred to the Joint Investigation Team (JIT).
