The IPL 2025 match between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) turned into a fiery battle between two Australian teammates-turned-rivals, Mitchell Marsh and Mitchell Starc.
The two found themselves on opposing sides during an IPL 2025 match between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on March 24, at the ACA–VDCA Cricket Stadium, and Marsh wasted no time in asserting his dominance.
After DC opted to bowl first, LSG openers Mitchell Marsh and Aiden Markram walked out to face an attack led by Starc, who was eager to make an impact with the new ball.
However, what followed was a nightmare start for the left-arm pacer.
On the very first ball Marsh faced, he emphatically stamped his authority, smashing Starc for a colossal six over square leg.
Starc had bowled a full-length delivery aimed at the stumps, trying to swing it back into the right-hander, but Marsh anticipated it early.
Getting inside the line, he flicked the ball effortlessly over the ropes. The shot traveled 70 meters, setting the tone for what promised to be an electrifying contest.
