Court reserves verdict on Imran Khan's appeal in Nikah case

District Sessions Court Islamabad Thursday reserved judgment on former premier Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi's appeal against sentence in the Nikkah case.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the court of Sessions Judge Shahrukh Arjumand will pronouce its reserved judgment on May 29.
During the hearing, Bushra Bibi's ex-husband Khawar Manika's lawyer Rizwan Abbasi did not appear in court and his assistent lawyer requested the court to postpone the hearing.
The court did not accept the request of the assistant lawyer and reserved the decision to pronounce on Wednesday.
PTI founder Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi's lawyers Usman Gill, Shoaib Shaheen, Zaheer Abbas, and Niazullah Niazi appeared before the court on Thursday. Prosecutor Adnan Ali also appeared before the court.
PTI's female leaders and workers inlcuding Seemabiya Tahir and Shandana Gulzar were also present in the court of Sessions Judge Shahrukh Arjumand.
