Acknowledging Pakistan’s rich and varied music scene, the presenter said, “Ali Zafar has had a phenomenal impact on the world of music.”
The ‘Jhoom’ singer thanked the award committee and the participants of the event and gave a speech that won everyone’s hearts.
Ali stated:
“I am particularly moved by the gesture that this ceremony brings to light the plight of a very important cause, which is what is happening in Gaza and what has been happening in Palestine for decades. Yes, we are entertainers, actors, and singers, but first and foremost, we’re human beings.”

Pakistani celebrities Mahira Khan, Sajal Aly, and Maya Ali are a few names that have been honored with a DIAFA till now.
