IHC Justice Sardar Ijaz issues contempt of court notice to Adiala Jail Superintendent

Islamabad High Court has issued contempt of court notice to Adiala Jail Superintendent and summoned him personally to appear before the court tomorrow morning for violation of the IHC orders, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Islamabad High Court Justice Sardar Ijaz Ishaq’s court was told by PTI lawyers that Jail Superintendent violated the court’s orders of September 6 by not allowing lawyers teams to meet former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan in the jail.
PTI lawyers requested the IHC that contempt of court proceeding should be initiated against him for flouting the court’s order. After hearing the contempt of court plea, IHC Judge Justice Sardar Ijaz said the contempt of court application is approved and orders are issued.
Justice Sardar Ejaz Ishaq Khan directed Jail Superintendent to personally appear at 10:30am on Thursday morning.
IHC judge also directed that court notice should be delivered to jail superintendent sent through special messenger and Additional Attorney General.
