PCB chief dissolves selection committee for women cricket team

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has dissolved the selection committee for women cricket team after their disappointing performance against the recent one-day series against West Indies, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Without wasting any time, the PCB announced a new seven-member women selection committee with immediate effect.
Former male cricketers Abdur Razzaq and Asad Shafiq, and former women cricketers Asmavia Iqbal and Marina Iqbal are included in the new selection committee.
Interim head coach women cricket team Mohtashim Rashid, cricket captain Nida Dar and former cricketer Batool Fatima will also serve as members of the selection committee.
The PCB chief also issued orders for immediate selection of a fine coach for the women cricket team, directing the new selection committee to immediately take over the task.
