In Chakwal, a unique two-day event titled "Plant for Pakistan" was organised through a collaboration between Blue World City, the Department of Forests, and the Hand Gliding and Paragliding Association.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the event, which combined the thrill of paragliding with environmental conservation, aimed to increase the number of trees in the region's forests.
The event was inaugurated by the Deputy Commissioner of Chakwal, Quratul Ain Malik, who kicked off the activities by throwing seed balls.
Over the course of the event, 20,000 seed balls, containing a variety of seeds such as Phulai, Kikar, and Sheesham, were dispersed in the Aara village area by skilled paragliders.
The goal of the event was to enhance the plant population in Chakwal's forests, with a total of 100,000 different plant seeds being sown during the event.
Renowned paragliders from across the country participated, combining their love for adventure with a commitment to environmental sustainability by establishing a new tradition of tree planting through paragliding.
