Westerly system enters northwestern Balochistan

The westerly wind system has entered northwestern Balochistan turning the weather extremely cold, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
According to the Meteorological Department, deep clouds and icy winds are blowing in different parts of Balochistan. Light rain is also falling in Pak-Iran and Pak-Afghan border areas after the entry of the western wind system. The weather has also turned cold in the upper regions of North Balochistan. It also rained in Muslim Bagh, Kan Mehtarzai, and Toba Achakzai while rain and snowfall are expected in North Balochistan from Sunday night.
The temperature in Quetta city has dropped to -5C due to snowfall. The weather becomes cold and dry in most of the districts of the province. According to the weather forecast, there may be light rain or snowfall in Chaman, Ziarat, Zhob, Quetta, Zhob, Qila Saifullah, Barkhan, Kalat, Khuzdar, and surrounding areas.
Meanwhile, Met Office informed that the weather will remain cold and dry in most parts of the country.
According to the Meteorological Department, the weather will remain very cold and partly cloudy in northern areas and northern Balochistan. Heavy fog will continue in the plains of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Upper Sindh.
Likewise, the weather in Islamabad will remain very cold and dry. The capital city is likely to experience light fog and mist at few places in the morning.
The weather will also remain cold and dry in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including the upper parts of the province. Heavy fog is likely to occur in Peshawar, Rashakai, Nowshera, Mardan, Swabi, Charsadda, and DI Khan. It will also remain cold and dry in most districts of Punjab including
The upper parts of Punjab. It will be very cold and partly cloudy in Murree, Galliat and surrounding areas. Heavy fog will continue in Jhelum, Lahore, Gujranwala, Narowal, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Jhang, Sargodha, Toba Tek Singh, and Okara.
The Met Office said heavy fog will continue in Sahiwal, Bhakkar, Layyah, Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar, Multan, Rahim Yar Khan, and Dera Ghazi Khan.
Fog is expected at a few places in the Potohar region during morning hours.
Weather will remain cold and dry in most districts of Sindh. The office said heavy fog is expected in Sukkur, Larkana, Hyderabad, and Mohenjo-Daro districts. The weather in Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan is also expected to be very cold and partly cloudy. Mist is expected at some places in Kashmir during morning hours.
