Aviation Minister Ghulam Sarwar Khan said on Sunday that prisons were the future of the opposition

Addressing a public meeting after inaugurating a Rs95 million gas supply project in Hassan Abdal on Sunday, the federal minister said that people needed to know who was a sincere leader and who was an anti-Pakistan leader. He said the devil would always mislead people and may Allah Almighty save everybody from the devils like the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), an alliance of 11 opposition parties currently trying to topple the federal government headed by Prime Minister Imran Khan of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).

Ghulam Sarwar said that may Allah Almighty protect everyone from “devils like Maulvi Fazl-ur-Rehman”. He said there was a view that PTI’s incompetence and mistakes added to the woes of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA). He said the PTI was a party of human beings and they could make mistakes, but they never sucked the blood of the people of Pakistan.

The federal minister said that people with fake licences could not be allowed to drive a car even, but some people were even flying planes in Pakistan with fake licences. He said that he raised his voice against the holders of fake pilot licences just to save people’s precious lives. He said that he was proud of raising the fake licences issue.

MNA Mansoor Hayat Khan and MPA Ammar Siddique Khan were also present.
