The protestors of the Baloch Yakjahti Committee who had been pitching their protest camps in Islamabad for more than a month called off their strike and left for Balochistan on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The tents erected outside the National Press Club, Islamabad for the past 62 days were also removed.
Yesterday, BYC leader Dr Mahrang Baloch announced the end of their sit- in.
The protestors left the federal capital today in five different passenger buses.
Before leaving the capital, Mahrung Baloch said the committee would start its fourth phase of campaign from Balochistan.
She said that the BYC would arrange a gathering in Quetta on January 27.
It is to be noted that the Yakjahti committee staged a sit-in in Islamabad on December 22, 2023 and ended it on January 23, 2014 despite harsh weather conditions.
