A Russian rocket strike on the eastern Ukrainian town of Girnyk on Wednesday killed two people and wounded eight, local officials said.
"At least two people were killed and eight wounded as a result of a rocket attack on Girnyk. ... The Russians attacked the town today around 4:00 pm (1400 GMT), hitting a residential area," Vadym Filashkin, the Ukrainian head of the Donetsk region said in a post on social media.
