Two Frontier Corps (FC) personnel were martyred in a firefight at a house in Kurram District on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to sources in the police, an FC team raided a house in Mata Sangar area after receiving information about presence of suspicious persons there.

The arrival of security forces personnel triggered a firefight with the armed suspects which resulted in martyrdom of two FC soldiers.

A local youth who was caught in the shootout also died, the police sources said.

The police sources further revealed that the action was taken after a tip-off about presence of Afghan nationals in the house.
