Four people lost their lives in two separate accidents in Hyderabad and Jamshoro areas of Sindh early Sunday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Two persons were killed while one was injured in Ghorra Ground area of Hyderabad when two speeding cars collided with each other.
Rescue workers said that the injured, as well as the dead, had been shifted to Civil Hospital. Police, on the other hand, said that efforts were being made to identify the dead.
Similarly, two more people lost their lives in a collision between a car and a heavy vehicle near the Loni Kot area of Jamshoro.
Sources in Edhi Foundation said that the car was heading from Karachi to Hyderabad when it met with an accident.
They further said that the bodies had been shifted to Kotri Hospital.
Similarly, two people were killed in a traffic mishap near Katti Paharri area of Karachi.
Bodies of the deceased who were identified as Khalid and Waqas were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
In yet another accident, three people were wounded when two mini trucks crashed into each other on Sahiwal Road in Arifwala.
The condition of one of the injured is stated to be critical.
Sources said the incident took place due to a slippery road because of rain.
Likewise, 12 people were injured when a passenger coach, heading from Karachi to Lahore, collided with a trailer on Paisra Road near Gojra.
Rescue 1122 workers shifted those injured to tehsil headquarters hospital.
The death toll from yesterday’s (Saturday) road mishap in Jhelum has now reached four as another youth succumbed to his injuries.
The incident had taken place when the car carrying six friends of a bridegroom collided with a truck.
All those travelling in the car belonged to Chishtian locality of Jhelum.
The dead were identified as Owais, Mubeen, Adeel and Iqbal.
