NA 193 Rajanpur By-Election: PTI's Mohsin Leghari wins by wide majority

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Mohsin Leghari won the by-elections in NA 198 Rajanpur with a big margin of 35,174 votes against the ruling Nawaz League's candidate on Sunday. Turn out remained at 47.15 in the constituency.

According to the 24News HD TV Channel, PTI's Leghari bagged leading 90,392 votes against the Nawaz League's Ammar Ahmad Khan Leghari who just received 55,218 votes.
Pakistan People's Party (PPP) candidate Akhtar Hussain Gorchani obtained 20,074 votes and Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) candidate Mehmood Khan got only 3,961 votes. An independent candidate Khadim Hussain got 1,670 votes.

After ending the polling time for the by-election in National Assembly Constituency NA-193 Rajanpur, the counting of votes has been started.

As many as 237 polling stations have been set up for voting in the constituency by the Election Commission of Pakistan.

The number of registered voters in the constituency is 3,79,204 with male voters  2,06,495 while the number of female voters is 1,72,709.

In the election, there is competition between 11 candidates including PML-N's Ammar Awais Leghari, PPP's Akhtar Hasan Gorchani and PTI's Mohsin Leghari.

Sensitive polling stations are being monitored by the ECP and law enforcement agencies with CCTV cameras and other modern devices.

The services of police, elite force, rangers and army have been called to deal with the unfortunate incident in the by-election.
