Farhatullah Babar said in his tweet to the parliamentarians and the PDM that if you really care about restoring the balance of powers then read Article 191 and act decisively or stop grumbling.
Article 191 of the Constitution of Pakistan said that subject to the Constitution and law, the Supreme Court may make rules regulating the practice and procedure of the Court.

A new political philosophy in the making: “Constitution, not parliament, is supreme and Constitution is not what’s written in it but what the SC says it is”. Massive shift of power taking place from elected to unelected. Parliamentarians think about it. Wake up.

On the other hand, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shehzad Akbar in his tweet opposed this opinion and considered it a threat to the Supreme Court.
This is a clear threat to the Supreme Court given by a sitting Government and endorsed by party leader, especially when you have a pending decision. Unfortunately otherwise principled leaders like Farhatullah Babar have to do bidding of their leadership https://t.co/f8h5Vg1cTq

Meanwhile, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz in a tweet has urged the government to stand firm and rise to the occasion or fall to the status quo.
The government MUST take a firm stand & rise to the occasion. Rise to the occasion or fall to the status quo. Leaders are made by the situations they are confronted with.
