Govt sets two-day deadline to deposit Hajj dues

The Federal Ministry for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony has set a two-day — Thursday and Friday — deadline for submitting dues by intending Hajj pilgrims in various banks across the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The ministry clarified that Hajj applications would be considered cancelled of those who would not deposit the payment within the deadline.
It has been mandatory to submit a passport and coronavirus vaccination certificate along with the Hajj package payment.

As per Hajj Package 2022 for north including Lahore residents, for Hajj pilgrimage pilgrim has to submit Rs800,383 including the sacrificial animal cost and Rs755,017 without the cost of the sacrificial animal.
It has been clarified by the ministry that additional cost will be paid by the pilgrim if the Saudi government increases the cost of the current Hajj season, however, if there will be less expenditure than the estimated then remaining amount will be provided back to the Hajis.
