The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday disposed of the petition, seeking quashing of the case registered by the Anti-Corruption Department against Farah Gogi, the friend of former first lady and wife of PTI Chairman Imran Khan, and her mother, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The department officials, on the occasion, submitted to the court a written report to prove that the case had already been quashed.
Speaking on the occasion, counsel for Farah and her mother argued that since the offence relating to the occupation of state land in which his clients had been booked on the complaint of Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah was not ‘criminal’, therefore it had been quashed.
“Therefore, it is prayed to the court to order quashing of the case,” he requested.
