Maryam Nawaz to address PML-N convention in Sahiwal today

PML-N Senior Vice-President and Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz will address a party convention in Sahiwal today for which preparations are being given final touches, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In a statement issued on Monday, PML-N spokesperson and Federal Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb said Maryam Nawaz Sharif will reach Sahiwal on a two-day visit. She said Maryam Nawaz will chair and also address the party’s organizational convention, and meeting during her two-day visit to the city.

Foolproof security arrangement have been made for the party convention which will be held at the city’s Hockey Ground.

Local presidents and general secretaries of the party, she said, would attend the meeting, aimed at reviewing the party’s organizational structure and performance.

The minister said Maryam Nawaz will also meet the party’s social media team, women and youth wing officials.

It is worth mentioning that Maryam Nawaz had started the party’s nationwide organizational tours on February 1. She has so far visited Bahawalpur, Multan, Abbottabad, Rawalpindi and Sargodha divisions and Islamabad.
