ECP restores membership of five parliamentarians

The Election Commission of Pakistan on Friday restored memberships of three more senators and two members of Sindh Assembly, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The ECP has issued notification in this regard.
According to the notification, the membership of three senators namely Aun Abbas, Rukhsana Zubairi and Manzoor Ahmad has been restored.
Besides this, the membership of two MPAs of the Sindh Assembly, Syed Farah Ahmad Shah and Hameer Singh has also been restored.
On Jan 17, the ECP suspended membership of 271 lawmakers - 136 members of the National Assembly, 21 senators and 114 members of provincial assemblies - for not submitting their statement of assets and liabilities.
However, the commission later restored the membership of 60 lawmakers after they submitted the details of their assets.
