Marked reduction in electricity prices in next few months, says PM Shehbaz

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Monday said that the present International Monetary Fund (IMF) programme would be Pakistan’s last programme, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Speaking at an inaugural ceremony of a hotel in Islamabad, he said that interest rate in the country would further come down today.
He also announced that there would be a big reduction in the electricity prices in the country in the next few months.
The prime minister said that the government was also taking steps to curtail its expenditures.
He also said that an increase in the country’s exports and remittances being sent from abroad had been witnessed.
