Sindh Minister for Information and Transport Sharjeel Memon on Sunday visited the bus rapid transit (BRT) Red Line site in Karachi as the work on the project was going on in full swings, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to the media, Sharjeel Memon said “Imran Khan’s government did nothing while in power and the resignations talk is merely a ruse to mislead the general public. If he really wants resignations, then he should ask President Arif Alvi to be the first to step down.”
The minister then said that the people's buses have been arrived in Karachi as they have the right to get good transport, while also mentioning that the billion-dollar projects are now underway in Karachi.
The Sindh government is working around the clock to provide best transportation to the public, and electric vehicles will be launched for the citizens of Karachi, after which the same will be done in other cities, he added.
Calling PTI’s Pindi rally a corner meeting, Sharjeel said that Imran Khan arrived in Rawalpindi to get the election date and left after announcing resignations.
He also claimed that Pervaiz Elahi is a sensible man and he will never want to give up his power on Imran Khan's whim.
