The administration of the capital city on Sunday removed containers from the road after Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s announcement of not going to Islamabad.
According to the 24News HD TV Channel, the capital city authorities blocked the road by placing containers to stop the PTI’s expected long march a couple of weeks ago.
The channel reported that the Faizabad Bridge (main entrance point) was closed with containers in view of Imran Khan’s long march toward Islamabad but now the containers are being removed by the machinery.
The channel report further said that the federal administration has now also opened the Faizabad Track at Murree Road in Rawalpindi for two-way traffic.
