SHC constitutional bench lifts stay on recruitment of teachers

Constitution Bench of Sindh High Court has lifted stay on recruitment of PST and JST teachers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.

The Constitutional Bench heard the petition against Sindh-wide teacher recruitment policy.

The Constitutional Court has allowed the Sindh government to recruit and join teachers across the province. 

Earlier, the Sindh High Court had issued a stay order on various petitions. The court had stopped the Sindh government from recruiting teachers. 

The Sindh government took plea in the case that the education system in the province has come to a standstill due to the stay order, so permission should be given to recruit teachers to improve the education system.
