Khaqan Abbasi skips LNG reference hearing

Former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Wednesday filed an application in an accountability court (AC) in Islamabad for one-day exemption from court appearance, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

AC judge Azam Khan heard the LNG reference filed by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) against the former prime minister.

The accused’s counsel was cross-examining NAB witness Abdur Rashid Jokhiyo.
