Pak Navy confers honorary Lieutenant rank to Fakhar Zaman

Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi conferred renowned cricketer Fakhar Zaman rank of Honorary Lieutenant to honour achievements in cricket and association with Pakistan Navy, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
A special epaulette award ceremony was held at Naval Headquarters, Islamabad
Fakhar Zaman joined Pakistan Navy in 2007 and started his cricket career in 2012 while he was serving in Pakistan Navy.
Due to his extraordinary cricket skills, Pakistan Navy provided him with an opportunity to continue his professional career, Navy’s DGPR said.
CNS congratulating Lt Fakhar Zaman Pakistan Navy highlighted that Pakistan Navy has produced players that earned laurels for Pakistan and would continue patronage sports at both national & international levels.

It is pertinent to note that chief of Naval Staff CNS also bestowed shields to Pakistan Cricket Board Director Media and Commodore Sami Ul Hasan and Cricketer Umar Gul.
