The Punjab Health Department has imposed a ban on nine substandard syrups manufactured by four pharmaceutical firms.
According to 24NewsHD TV channel, the Punjab Health Department took the step following the drug testing laboratory declared substandard nine syrups manufactured by four pharmaceutical companies.
Drug inspectors have been asked to seize the substandard syrups and refrain medical stores and pharmacies from selling these syrups in the province. The lab test found substandard ethanol in these syrups.
