Section 144 imposed in Quetta banning rallies, processions

All kinds of public meetings, processions and rallies have been banned under Section 144 across the city of Quetta, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

District Administration said that Section 144 enforced in Quetta and no one is allowed to protest and rally in the red zone.

Some elements are trying to protest and rally to achieve their nefarious goals, district administration said.

The district administration also set up containers for an indefinite period on the roads entering and leaving the city of Quetta including Hazar Ganji, Lakpass, Maghrib Bypass and Sibi Road.

Security has been put on high alert throughout the city, district administration said.
