Fans fly into fury over Bollywood’s Pasoori rendition

Pakistani singers Ali Sethi and Shae Gill’s global hit rendition ‘Pasoori’ has been remade by the Bollywood music industry which has provoked extreme outrage all over social media.

The song titled ‘Pasoori Nu’ which has been recreated for the upcoming Bollywood movie ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, features very talented Indian actors Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani in lead roles.

However, the song was sung by one of the most renowned Indian singers Arijit Singh.

It contains a mixture of Urdu and Punjabi languages.

 Despite having an amazing vocal of Arijit Singh, the song remained fail to impress the listeners as fans are not ready to replace it with the original ‘Pasoori.’

‘Pasoori Nu’, features Kiara, and Aaryan.

Both were showing sizzling chemistry while dressed in white matching attires.

As soon as the video of Pasoori Nu surfaced on the internet the social media users expressed anger on the Bollywood industry for their lack of ability to produce their own creation.

Adnan Siddiqui also expressed disappointment over the Indian music industry for stealing Pakistani songs.

Adnan took to Twitter and wrote, “And Bollywood did exactly what we feared # Pasoori # no good as usual.”

Another established actress Amar Khan also wrote on Twitter, “Wait a second, I wish they had titled it as a ‘Pakistani hit’ because ‘Global hit’ is very smartly placed to avoid the origins of the iconic song which is made in Pakistan,”

The Dum Mastam actor, however, added that she has no “cross border hatred” because she feels the same when Bollywood ruins their own classics as well.

“No cross-border hatred, I have grown up on Indian songs and I hate it when they ruin their own classics off late,” she concluded.
