KP Cabinet approves formation of Judicial Commission to probe May 9 incidents

 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cabinet, which met under chair of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, has approved the formation of Judicial Commission to probe the May 9, 2023 incidents, reported 24 NewsHD TV channel.


The provincial cabinet also approved the creation of 565 posts for police in DI Khan sub-division Kalachi. The new vacancies include 5 sub-inspectors, 10 assistant sub-inspectors, 50 head constables and 500 constables.


On the occasion, KP CM said the creation of new posts was aimed at improving the law and order situation in the area.


The cabinet also approved the introduction of a traffic warden system in other divisional headquarters on the lines of Peshawar, Swat, and Abbottabad. And for this 1,179 posts to be created for traffic warden in new divisional headquarters.


The traffic wardens posts include superintendent of police, traffic officer, senior warden, warden, head constable, and junior patrolling officer.


KP Cabinet also approved an additional funds of Rs 319.627 million for Cadet College Razmak, Cadet College Spinkai and Cadet College Wana.


The cabinet approved a 100 percent hike in the rents of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Houses in Islamabad and Abbottabad and Shahi Mehman Khana in Peshawar. The Cabinet approved bringing of 53km Bord Yakhtangi-Puran-Martong road and 18-km Kalam-Uttwar Gabral road under provincial jurisdiction.
