The Chaudhry Brothers of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) held a meeting with the leaders of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) at Parliament Lodges on Monday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Federal ministers – Ch Tariq Bashir Cheema and Moonis Elahi, MNAs – Salik Hussain and Hussain Elahi, Senator Kamil Ali Agha, and Ms Farrah Khan attended the meeting.

Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Wasim Akhtar, Aminul Haq, Amir Khan, Izharul Hassan, Javed Hanif, Kanwar Naveed, Khawaja Izhar, Sadiq Iftikhar, and Ms Kishwar Zehra were part of the MQM delegation.

The meeting discussed in detail the current political situation in the country, in the wake of the no-confidence motion, and also the matters pertaining to mutual interest.

The meeting continued till the filing of the report.

It is to be noted here that the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) appears to have been struggling very hard to gain the support of its allies to keep its government in the Centre as well as in Punjab intact against the opposition’s no-confidence motion against the prime minister and the chief minister, respectively.
