Minister chairs FJMU syndicate

The 32nd syndicate of Fatima Jinnah Medical University met with provincial health minister Dr Javed Akram 

The meeting okayed annual procurement plan of Sir Ganga Ram Hospital was approved in the meeting.

Vice Chancellor Fatima Jinnah Medical University Professor Dr Khalid Masood Gondal, Additional Secretary Finance Department of Specialized Healthcare and persons concerned attended the meeting 

The registrar presented the syndicate agenda related to the academic council, HR and finance and planning committee.

The provincial health minister Dr Javedikaram endorsed the decisions.

Prof Dr Khalid Masood Gondal briefed minister Karam about the details of relief operations for the rehabilitation of flood victims.

The minister also visited the Mother and Child Block and appreciated the efforts of the administration.

During the meeting, the contract of the Hardware Engineer and Assistant Auditor Officer at Fatima Jinnah Medical University was extended by one year.

The contract of the employees performing duties on regular sanctioned seats in Fatima Jinnah Medical University and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital was extended by six months. During the meeting, the contracts of the Deputy Director QEC, Assistant Programmer and Store Officer were extended for six months.

Speaking on the occasion, the minister said there is a basic need to promote research in the medical schools of Punjab and he stressed the need for issuing a newsletter at the earliest.

All kinds of funds will be provided for the completion of the mother and child block.
