Case lodged for harassing university girls in Sialkot

Police on Friday registered first information report (FIR) against five accused who intercepted a van and harassed female university students in in Sialkot, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
According to the FIR, five accused riding three motorcycles attacked the van and damages its windscreen, and also tortured and abused the driver.
Soon after receiving the report of the incident, a heavy contingent of police reached the area and arrested one accused who was later identified as Hamza.
Police started raiding different locations to arrest the four accused who escaped from the scene after the incident.
On the other hand, the arrested accused said that a brawl erupted between the motorcyclists and the van driver due to wrong crossing and they did not harm and harass the female students.
Further investigation was underway.
