To curb the spread of polio, authorities have set up 145 special vaccination stalls across Pakistan, ensuring immunization during the Eid holidays, the National Emergency Operations Center (EOC) announced.

According to officials, these Eid polio vaccination stalls will remain operational from March 25 to April 3 and have been strategically placed at major shopping malls and entertainment venues to maximize outreach. Additionally, 644 polio vaccination teams have been deployed at key travel destinations to ensure children receive the vaccine while on the move.

The National EOC emphasized the importance of continuous vaccination efforts and confirmed that a nationwide polio campaign will take place from April 21 to 27, targeting more than 45 million children.

Authorities have urged parents to ensure their children are vaccinated, stressing that immunization is crucial in protecting them from lifelong disabilities caused by polio.
