School timings revised for summer

The School Education Department has announced revised summer working hours for government schools, effective from April 1 to April 15.
According to the new notification, morning shift schools will operate from 7:30 AM to 1:00 PM, while on Fridays, they will close earlier at 11:30 AM. The second shift will function from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with Friday timings set from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM.
Additionally, the first shift teachers will be on duty from 7:15 AM to 1:30 PM, whereas second shift teachers will work from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM.
The decision aims to adjust school hours in line with the rising summer temperatures, ensuring a conducive learning environment for students.
