A person, who had been missing for a year, walked himself into the court room Monday during the hearing of petitions about the recovery of missing persons at Sindh High Court (SHC), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The name of the person was Zaid Shah, and he himself appeared before the court.

Another citizen, Sheikh Bilal Zafar, was wanted by police in a case, and a report about him told the court that he was currently in the Central Jail after arrest.

The court then disposed of the petitions related to the disappearance of Zaid Shah and Sheikh Bilal Zafar.

The court rejected the petitions related to the recovery of citizens – Muhammad Ibrahim and Noor Islam – for non-compliance.

The court sought reports on petitions related to the recovery of citizens namely Imran Gul Sher and Habib Khan.

The court ordered the formation of a Provincial Task Force and Joint Investigation Team (JIT) for the recovery of missing citizens.

The court also sought a report on these matters from the Sindh inspector general of police (IGP) and others within six weeks.
