LHC suspends detention order of PA's Secretary Bhatti

Lahore High court on Friday suspended the detention order of Punjab Assembly Secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A hearing was held in LHC on a petition against the detention order of the Secretary Assembly.
Secretary Punjab Assembly Muhammad Khan Bhatti was summoned by the court.
Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh heard the petition of Muhammad Khan Bhatti.
The court issued notices to the Punjab government, Additional Chief Secretary, Home Secretary and other parties.
“The court is trying to provide relief to those who come here”, said Justice Tariq Saleem Sheikh.
Petitioner's lawyer said that Secretary Punjab Assembly Muhammad Khan has been taken into custody for three days, adding that according to the detention order, the Secretary Punjab Assembly has been declared a threat to peace.
The petitioner lawyer also said that Muhammad Khan Bhatti is a 22nd grade Punjab Assembly officer to whom the Detention Act does not apply, adding that Muhammad Khan Bhatti is being punished for issuing notice to IG Punjab.
The petitioner lawyer said that Secretary Coordination Assembly Inayatullah Lak was arrested, yesterday.
