Bilawal wants ministers to be with victims till last raindrop drained out

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Saturday had a telephonic conversation with Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and provincial ministers on relief operations.
Bilawal directed his team to reach out to the victims of disastrous downpour and stand by them till the last drop of rain is drained out of their area.
Local Government Minister Nasir Shah and Public Health Engineering Minister Shabir Bijrani briefed the ruling party chief about the ongoing efforts.
The local government minister said rainwater from most parts of Karachi, Hyderabad, Larkana, Sukkur, Mirpurkhas has been drained out while relief operation is underway across the province.
Shabir told Bilawal his ministry has been utilising all-out resources to drain out rainwater without damaging irrigation canals.
Bilawal also directed the ministers to get the damage assessed so that relief and rehabilitation drive could be geared up. He felt for strong concerns for the families who lost their dear ones and called for concerted efforts for adequate compensations for the victims.
