Pakistani actor Shan Baig responded bluntly to actress Naimal Khawar’s sister Fiza Khawar’s safety concern for women in Pakistan which caused a stir on social media.
Fiza Khawar took to her Instagram handle and posted a video in which she shed light on the challenges women encounter in Pakistan, as they are not safe in public areas.
She said: “Why do women not walk safely in the park or any other public place why we always scared that is someone is following us or not.”
She deeply showed concerns about harassment and stalking and further questioned why such incidents have become normalized and thought about the current situation for women.

On this the actor Shan wrote a direct and provocative remark on Fiza's video, seemingly angered by what he perceived as a broad generalization.
He advised the lady to “move out of Pakistan “if she did not feel safe here.
